The intimate event perfectly suited the low-key couple. Neither she nor Mac is comfortable with much attention. "She was supposed to look and be, like, 'Oh, headphones'… but she got really excited and started jumping up and down and hooting and hollering about the headphones," Mac said. When the couple got home from celebrating their second anniversary on May 13, Mac surprised Zan with a special anniversary present: a pair of dollar store headphones. The Lugoff, S.C., residents have been together ever since. At that moment, the town bells started ringing and Zan, taking it as a sign, leaned in for that first, sweet kiss.
